The Media Mojo specializes in Audio Cassette to CD / Mp3 transfers and various other audio formats. Unlike many other transfer services we personally monitor every audio transfer to ensure maximum sound quality. Our streamlined process allows us to offer high-quality audio conversions at an economoical price.
We offer a variety of options and add-ons to go along with our tape conversions. If you have a custom order or require other types of audio restoration please do not hesitate to contact us.
Audio Cassette Tapes come in various lengths. CD’s can only hold roughly 80 minutes of audio, so any tapes that run longer than 80 minutes will need to be split on to two separate CD’s.
If the tapes are not full or you do not know exactly how much audio is on them, we can tell you so you are charged accordingly. Just select the “60 minute” option and send them in.
Choice of Output Format
You can choose to have your media converted to either .wav or .mp3 files. We can also transfer your cassette tapes to a variety of other formats upon request (FLAC, ALAC, AAC, WMA and more!).
WAV – This is the standard CD format that is used for professionally mastered CD’s.
MP3 – This is a compressed digital file used mostly for digital audio devices such as iPods and other Mp3 Players.
Our Track Splitting service goes hand in hand with our Cassette to CD service as it useful to break your audio recordings into individual tracks so you can easily navigate from song to song on your new CD.
We will include up to the first 18 tracks for this service. If your project has more than 18 tracks there will be an additional charge.
Please note that there must be obvious breaks in the music for us to be able to distinguish where to cut tracks. All track splitting is done manually. If you have more complicated track splitting requirements please contact us and we can accommodate your specific needs.
Using state-of-the-art audio restoration software we can remove hiss/background noise from most audio cassette tapes. By taking a sample of noise we can isolate it and remove it from your recording giving you a much cleaner audio track.
Have the album title and track list printed directly on to the face of the CD or provide us with an image file to have a full color high resolution picture printed. Our CD labeling service provides a non smudge label that is visually pleasing.
